Depth & Perception

The highly anticipated, first major presentation of the Spirits Collection brought Blake’s artworks back to his native land after decades abroad allowed him to expand his vision and return not only with a body of work years in the refining, but with the artistic partnership that had reshaped it. The Spirits collection’s abiding inquiry: partial figures challenge the classical form by shifting attention toward negative space, leading the viewer inward toward an exploration of our inner landscape, where aesthetic ideals give way to introspection, and imagination.

The Space Within

An exhibition that deepened that conversation, presenting bronze figures that evoke a dialogue between the conscious and the unconscious, their textured exterior surfaces alluding to the layered complexity of our individuality, their open exposed interiors eliciting introspection.

Opening of Elixir at Petley Jones Gallery

2019

Elixir

Elixir marked a new threshold; a collection showcasing the fusion between the two artists, in which Blake and Boky share the body as a material extension, a fragment, mortified on the net in the digital age. It was a distillation of everything the collaboration had become.
