Why Pietrasanta ?
Pietrasanta is a small community of world renowned artists, specifically sculptures. Boky and I had been living in a bubble, working out of our studio in Monaco up until Covid started. The neighbourhood was historically an artistic one, however, our precious atelier in Rue des Lilas suffered from a flood and we had to relocate. When looking for studio spaces in a new city, Pietrasanta was an obvious choice. The cultural presence, the historical importance and the technical infrastructure, craftsmanship and innovation within the community have influenced us in the most inspirational ways.
We have been there for 6 years and have had the immense pleasure of connecting with some of this generations' brilliant minds in the field. We are grateful to have joined this community and always look forward to going back.
How does it differ from the other places you've lived?

What do you like most about working in Pietrasanta ?
When it comes down to it, it's both the people and the calm. In regards the latter, Boky and I really value our time alone, as it is then that we are most in tune with ourselves, allowing us to create and express ourselves freely. However, the community in Pietrasanta is unlike any other. We are grateful to have made such inspiring and most importantly genuine friends and neighbours who made us feel at home from the very first day we got there.
